Couples & Relationship Therapy

When relationships get stuck, even small conversations can start to feel exhausting.

You may find yourselves having the same arguments, feeling misunderstood, emotionally disconnected, walking on eggshells, shutting down, or wondering how two people who care about each other keep ending up in the same painful place.

Couples therapy is not about deciding who’s right, or simply replaying the same arguments with a witness.

It’s about helping you better understand the patterns between you and create meaningful change together.

Our work together focuses on helping you:

  • Communicate more clearly and feel more understood

  • Reduce repetitive conflict, defensiveness, shutdown, or escalation

  • Rebuild trust, emotional safety, and connection

  • Improve repair after disagreements instead of staying stuck in resentment

  • Better understand each other’s emotional needs, triggers, and communication patterns

  • Strengthen intimacy, teamwork, and emotional closeness

  • Navigate parenting stress, difficult decisions, or major life transitions with greater clarity

  • Feel more connected, supported, and aligned in the relationship

Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, practical, and genuinely supportive. My goal is to create a space where both partners feel respected, emotionally safe enough to be honest, and supported in creating real movement, not blame, gridlock, or endless analysis.

Whether you’re navigating communication breakdown, emotional distance, trust issues, intimacy concerns, parenting stress, or uncertainty about the future of the relationship, therapy can help your relationship feel healthier, more connected, and more sustainable.

I welcome couples across a range of identities and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+, queer, non-binary, and consensually non-monogamous / poly relationships.

Couples sessions are typically conducted as extended 90-minute sessions to allow adequate space for deeper communication, emotional understanding, and meaningful therapeutic work.

The fee for a 90-minute couples session is $300.

I offer private-pay couples & relationship therapy in Concord, MA, serving MetroWest clients in person and via telehealth across Massachusetts, with superbills available for clients with out-of-network benefits.
