LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy
Therapy should be a place where you do not have to explain, defend, or minimize who you are.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationships, family stress, trauma, identity questions, life transitions, or simply wanting a therapist who offers affirming care, feeling safe, respected, and understood matters.
Our work together focuses on helping you:
Feel more grounded, confident, and secure in your sense of self
Better manage anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, or chronic self-monitoring
Strengthen boundaries and improve important relationships
Process rejection, shame, painful experiences, or trauma
Explore questions related to gender, sexuality, identity, or belonging with greater clarity
Reduce masking, people-pleasing, or pressure to constantly monitor how you’re perceived
Build greater self-compassion, resilience, and emotional flexibility
Feel more able to show up authentically in daily life and relationships
Some clients come specifically for support around identity exploration or gender-related questions. Others seek therapy for anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship stress, or major life transitions, and want to know they’re working with someone who provides genuinely affirming, respectful care.
Both are welcome.
Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, practical, and genuinely supportive. My goal is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe enough to be honest, respected in your lived experience, and supported in creating meaningful change aligned with your goals, not someone else’s expectations.
I offer private-pay LGBTQ+ affirming therapy in Concord, MA, serving MetroWest clients in person and via telehealth across Massachusetts.
