Therapy for Men
For some people, asking for help runs directly against how they’ve learned to survive.
Many of the clients I work with are used to handling things themselves, staying functional under pressure, solving problems, and pushing through stress without making their struggles anyone else’s problem. This can be especially true for men, first responders, veterans, and others in roles where competence, self-reliance, and emotional control are deeply valued.
Those qualities can be real strengths. But over time, carrying everything alone can become exhausting.
Therapy is not about becoming a different person.
It’s about helping you carry less alone and function in ways that feel more sustainable.
Our work together focuses on helping you:
Better manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
Improve communication and reduce conflict in important relationships
Feel less emotionally shut down, reactive, or stuck in repetitive patterns
Navigate fatherhood, career stress, trauma, or major life transitions with greater clarity
Feel more grounded, connected, and capable of meaningful change
Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, practical, and genuinely supportive. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, emotionally safe, and free to be honest, while also helping you create real movement, not endless analysis.
While many clients drawn to this work identify as men, anyone who resonates with these experiences is welcome.
I offer private-pay therapy in Concord, MA, serving MetroWest clients in person and via telehealth across Massachusetts.
Individual therapy sessions are $200 for 55 minutes. Superbills are available for clients using out-of-network benefits.
