Trauma & PTSD Therapy

Trauma can continue shaping how you think, feel, and relate long after the original experiences have passed.

Trauma can stem from clearly overwhelming experiences such as abuse, assault, violence, medical trauma, accidents, combat exposure, or loss, but it can also develop through chronic stress, painful relationships, instability, neglect, bullying, or repeated experiences of feeling unsafe, powerless, or alone.

You may feel constantly on edge, emotionally reactive, shut down, disconnected, easily overwhelmed, or frustrated by how your mind and body respond, even when part of you knows you’re safe.

Trauma therapy is not about forcing yourself to “just move on” or relive painful experiences before you’re ready.

It’s about helping you feel safer, steadier, and less controlled by survival patterns that no longer serve you.

Our work together focuses on helping you:

  • Feel less emotionally reactive, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode

  • Better manage anxiety, panic, triggers, hypervigilance, or chronic stress responses

  • Feel safer in your body and less controlled by stress or fear

  • Reduce avoidance, emotional shutdown, or numbness

  • Better understand patterns affecting trust, relationships, or self-worth

  • Feel less shame, self-blame, or confusion about your reactions

  • Reconnect with parts of yourself that have felt distant, guarded, or shut down

  • Experience more calm, clarity, emotional flexibility, and freedom in daily life

Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, practical, and genuinely supportive. My goal is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe enough to be honest, never pressured to move faster than feels manageable, and supported in creating meaningful change, not simply talking about painful experiences without direction.

I work with adults, young adults, and older teens (15+) navigating trauma, PTSD, relational trauma, attachment wounds, panic, chronic stress responses, and trauma that overlaps with anxiety, ADHD, or neurodivergence.

I offer private-pay trauma & PTSD therapy in Concord, MA, serving MetroWest clients in person and via telehealth across Massachusetts.

Individual therapy sessions are $200 for 55 minutes. Superbills are available for clients using out-of-network benefits.
